The seminar on « Mutual Learning and Common Modernization of Chinese-African Civilizations » from the Perspective of Regional and Country Studies was successfully held at University of Jinan 2025-06-30
2025年6月27-28日，由（中国）中外语言文化比较学会区域文化研究专业委员会指导，济南大学主办，济南大学非洲研究中心、济南大学外国语学院、山东航空学院非盟国家研究中心、山东航空学院外国语学院承办，外语教学与研究出版社、上海外语教育出版社、复旦大学出版社、清华大学出版社、济南新东方教育科技集团有限公司、山东蓝思教育科技（集团）有限公司协办，山东智慧译百信息技术有限公司提供技术支持的区域国别研究视阈下的 “中非文明互鉴与共同现代化” 学术研讨会在济南大学顺利召开。来自全国70多家单位的200余名专家学者参加了本次大会。
On June 27-28, 2025, under the guidance of the Regional Cultural Research Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Comparative Studies of Chinese and Foreign Languages and Cultures, hosted by University of Jinan, and organized by the Center for African Studies of University of Jinan, the School of Foreign Languages of University of Jinan, the African Union Countries Research Center of Shandong University of Aeronautics, and the School of Foreign Languages of Shandong University of Aeronautics, and co-organized by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press, Fudan University Press, Tsinghua University Press, Jinan New Oriental Education Technology Group Co., Ltd., and Shandong Lansi Education Technology (Group) Co., Ltd., the « China Africa Civilization Mutual Learning and Common Modernization » academic seminar from the perspective of regional and country studies was successfully held at University of Jinan with technical support provided by Shandong Zhihui Yibai Information Technology Co., Ltd. More than 200 experts and scholars from over 70 units across the country participated in this conference.
6月28日上午，开幕式在济南大学第一学术报告厅举行。济南大学党委副书记商华致欢迎辞时表示，学校长期致力于中非合作与非洲问题研究，非洲研究中心作为国内成立较早的教育部国别和区域研究中心，希望通过本次会议进一步凝聚共识、汇聚资源，为推动中国特色学术体系建设贡献力量。
On the morning of June 28th, the opening ceremony was held at the First Academic Lecture Hall of University of Jinan. In her welcoming speech, Shang Hua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of University of Jinan, stated that the university has long been committed to China Africa cooperation and research on African issues. As one of the earliest national and regional research centers established by the Ministry of Education in China, the Center for African Research studies hopes to further consolidate consensus and gather resources through this conference, and contribute to the construction of a Chinese style academic system.
山东省委外事工作委员会办公室副主任李红指出，山东省与非洲多国在农业、基础设施、教育、文化等领域已有良好合作基础，省政府高度重视学术研究在地方国际化发展中的战略支撑作用，期待学界为中非合作提供更多前瞻性政策建议。
Li Hong, Deputy Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Work Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, pointed out that Shandong Province has established a good cooperation foundation with many African countries in agriculture, infrastructure, education, culture and other fields. The provincial government attaches great importance to the strategic support role of academic research in local internationalization development and hopes that the academic community can provide more forward-looking policy suggestions for China-African cooperation.

Chen Liang, the President of the Regional Cultural Research Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Comparative Studies of Chinese and Foreign Languages and Cultures and professor from Fudan University, emphasized in his speech that regional and country studies, as an important force in serving national strategies, need to enhance China’s ability to construct its discourse system through mutual learning of civilizations. China-Africa studies is a representative frontier field. Gao Gongjing, Director of the Social Sciences Department of University of Jinan, presided over the opening ceremony.

上海交通大学刘建军教授的发言聚焦于 “漫议外语专业的区域国别研究”，为外语专业在区域国别研究领域的定位和发展提供了新思路；上海交通大学彭青龙教授探讨了 “区域国别研究和人才培养：外语学科服务国家战略和时代需求的新赛道”，强调了外语学科在其中的关键作用；北京大学李安山教授以 “全球治理与全球南方：关键时刻与改革诉求” 为题，深入剖析了全球南方在当前国际形势下的角色和诉求；南京大学刘成富教授则对 “非洲历史文化与非洲人身份认同” 进行了详细阐述，揭示了非洲文化与身份认同之间的紧密联系；湘潭大学胡强教授阐述了 “‘全学科素养’ 与非洲研究的比较视野”，为非洲研究的跨学科发展提供了有益借鉴；中国石油大学（华东）毛浩然教授的 “区域国别学的范式跃迁路径：认知盲点、能力堵点与制度奇点” 发言，指出了区域国别学发展过程中亟待解决的问题及路径；《西亚非洲》编辑部主任詹世明分享了 “区域国别研究背景下非洲研究机构建设的新特点与新趋势”，为非洲研究机构的建设和发展提供了重要参考。山东省委政研室副主任姚军提出让齐风鲁韵润泽中非友谊；中非经济合作发展工作委员会会长叶俊逸探讨中非经济与产业创新协同发展的战略机遇与实践路径；济南大学外国语学院院长、非洲研究中心主任宋庆伟作了题为“中非研究发展进路及启示——以济南大学非洲研究中心为个案”的主旨报告。
The experts and scholars conducted in-depth discussions on related topics in the keynote speech session.
Professor Liu Jianjun’s speech at Shanghai Jiao Tong University focused on « Regional and Country Studies in the Field of Comic Foreign Languages », providing new ideas for the positioning and development of foreign language majors in the field of regional and country studies; Professor Peng Qinglong from Shanghai Jiao Tong University discussed « Regional Country Studies and Talent Cultivation: A New Track for Foreign Language Disciplines to Serve National Strategies and Era Needs », emphasizing the key role of foreign language disciplines in it; Professor Li Anshan from Peking University gave an in-depth analysis of the role and demands of the Global South in the current international situation, titled « Global Governance and the Global South: Critical Moments and Reform Demands »; Professor Liu Chengfu from Nanjing University provided a detailed exposition on « African History and Culture and African Identity », revealing the close connection between African culture and identity; Professor Hu Qiang from Xiangtan University elaborated on the comparative perspective of ‘interdisciplinary literacy’ and African studies, providing useful references for the interdisciplinary development of African studies; Professor Mao Haoran from China University of Petroleum (East China) pointed out the urgent problems and paths that need to be solved in the development of regional ethnology in his speech on « The Paradigm Transition Path of Regional Ethnology: Cognitive Blind Spots, Capability Blockages, and Institutional Singularities »; Zhan Shiming, the editorial director of West Asia Africa, shared the new characteristics and trends of African research institution construction under the background of regional and country studies, providing important references for the construction and development of African research institutions. Yao Jun, Deputy Director of the Political Research Office of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, proposed to let Qi Fenglu Yun nourish the friendship between China and Africa; Ye Junyi, Chairman of the China Africa Economic Cooperation and Development Working Committee, discusses the strategic opportunities and practical paths for the coordinated development of China Africa economy and industrial innovation; Song Qingwei, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages and Director of the African Studies Center of University of Jinan, delivered a keynote speech entitled « Development Path and Inspiration of Central African Studies: A Case Study of the African Studies Center of University of Jinan ».
下午举行的四场分论坛围绕“非洲文学与本土叙事”“流散书写与后殖民理论”“中外形象双向建构”与“区域国别学范式创新”等议题展开深入研讨。来自山东航空学院、中国人民警察大学、河海大学、北京外国语大学、山西师范大学、南昌大学、青岛大学、山东理工大学、中国矿业大学等高校的50余位学者就非洲当代文学、“一带一路”背景下的中非合作、教育文化交流、智库建设、青年学者交流、留学生培养等方面分享研究成果与思考，展示了学界在相关领域的最新成果与多元视角。
闭幕式上，各分论坛点评人对分论坛讨论情况进行了汇报，总结了各论坛的讨论成果和主要观点。宋庆伟教授作会议总结并表示，本次会议在议题设计、发言质量、学术交流等方面均体现出高水平，取得了多方面成果：一是深化了中非关系研究的理论阐释与实证探索；二是搭建了高校、政府、智库多方参与的对话平台；三是推动了青年学者成长，形成学术接力。
本次研讨会旨在深入贯彻落实 2024 年中非合作论坛北京峰会达成的 “九项工程” 合作共识，探究中非文明互鉴历史脉络与现代化合作的当代实践及相关学科融合发展，搭建中非跨文明对话平台，探索区域国别学科发展及中非协同发展新范式。未来济南大学非洲研究中心将与各位同行一道继续努力，发挥平台优势，深化国际合作，为推动区域国别学科体系建设和中非命运共同体建设贡献更大力量，为深化中非协同发展与文明互鉴提供更有力的学术支撑与智库动能。
The four sub-forums held in the afternoon focused on in-depth discussions on topics such as « African Literature and Local Narrative », « Dispersed Writing and Postcolonial Theory », « Dual Construction of Chinese and Foreign Images », and « Innovation of Regional and Country Studies Paradigm ». More than 50 scholars from Shandong University of Aeronautics, the People’s Police University of China, Hehai University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Shanxi Normal University, Nanchang University, Qingdao University, Shandong University of Technology, China University of Mining and Technology and other universities share research results and thoughts on African contemporary literature, China Africa cooperation in the context of the « the Belt and Road », educational and cultural exchanges, think tank construction, exchange of young scholars, training of foreign students and other aspects, showing the latest achievements and diverse perspectives of the academic community in related fields.
At the closing ceremony, the commentators of each sub-forum reported and summarized the discussion results and main viewpoints of each forum. Professor Song Qingwei made a summary of the conference and stated that the conference demonstrated a high level in topic design, speech quality, academic exchange, and other aspects, achieving multiple results: firstly, deepening the theoretical interpretation and empirical exploration of China Africa relations research; Secondly, a dialogue platform involving universities, governments, and think tanks has been established; Thirdly, it has promoted the growth of young scholars and formed an academic relay.
The purpose of this seminar is to thoroughly implement the « nine projects » cooperation consensus reached at the Beijing summit of the Forum on China-African Cooperation of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation in 2024, explore the historical context of mutual learning between Chinese and African civilizations and the contemporary practice of modern cooperation and the integration and development of related disciplines, build a platform for cross civilization dialogue between China and Africa, and explore new paradigms for regional and national disciplinary development and China Africa coordinated development. In the future, the Center for African Studies of University of Jinan will continue to work together with colleagues, leverage its platform advantages, deepen international cooperation, and contribute greater strength to promoting the construction of regional and national disciplinary systems and the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Africa. It will provide stronger academic support and think tank momentum for deepening the coordinated development and cultural exchange between China and Africa.
